New Business: President Montgomery:

When going into the office with boss or inspectors make sure your represented by a steward. This includes when management approached you on the street and wants to question you about your performance, always request a steward.

Fill out your 3996, if your going to be later than what your approved for make sure you call and get authorization, if nobody answers then bring the mail back and find a supervisor. Protect yourself at all times.

OSHA has an updated heat index app for your phone. Download from your phones application page.

Local Contracts will be negotiated in October and November if this contract passes.

Make sure you only scan an actual MSP bar code that is on a mailbox. Never scan anything else and never take scan stickers from your supervisor to put on the box. That is their job not ours. If any supervisor asks you to put scan stickers on your boxes notify the union office immediately.

The next union meeting is open to all members and is Wednesday August 2, 2017 at 7:00pm and will be held at the IBEW union hall located at 2300 East River Road, Rochester NY 14623.
